Autistic Singer Lizzie Hosking’s Career Soars with Scouted Performance and New Single Release

Watch the name Lizzie Hosking! Lizzie Hosking’s music career is rapidly gaining momentum, a success she attributes to her unique “superpower.” as she explained in an interview with the ABC.

After overcoming numerous obstacles, Hosking has embraced her autism, a diagnosis she shares with her brother and sister. This newfound openness has strengthened her family bonds, reflecting their mutual support despite their struggles. The 25-year-old singer is now preparing to showcase her talent at Scouted. Scouted is an annual event highlighting South Australia’s most promising unsigned artists.

Out of 130 hopefuls, Hosking is one of ten artists selected to perform, marking a significant milestone in her career. She views the interviews leading up to the event as a way to manage her nerves, anticipating a sense of relief when she finally takes the stage.

Initially private about her autism due to growing up in a household with disabilities, Hosking’s perspective shifted through her music. She now sees her diagnosis as a source of creativity, enabling her to intensely focus on songwriting and connect deeply with music.

Scouted kicks of this evening with Lizzie taking the stage at 8.30pm.
