My name is Lauren Ford and I am a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with over 10 years’ experience supporting children, adolescents and young adults with communication and learning needs. I provide telehealth speech pathology services to families in Victoria, including Melbourne and regional areas.
I offer individualised, strengths-based support tailored to each person’s goals, preferences and interests. This may include expressive and receptive language, social communication, understanding and being understood by others, and literacy skills such as reading, spelling and writing. Sessions focus on building confidence and supporting meaningful participation in everyday life, school and community settings.
I aim to provide a supportive, fun and flexible environment that respects different communication styles. Telehealth sessions can be adapted to suit access and sensory needs, including pacing, use of visuals and incorporating interests to support engagement.
I take a neurodiversity-affirming approach and welcome collaboration with families, educators and other supports integral to continuity of care.
I support private clients and NDIS participants (plan-managed and self-managed). I also offer a free 15-minute consultation for families interested in what I can offer.
