Autism Northern Territory is the peak body for Autism in the Northern Territory. We provide support for children, parents, carers, teachers, school staff and professionals working or living with those on the Autism spectrum.
Autism NT is a not-for-profit organisation which receives government grants and donations from both the public and private sector.
Autism NT is managed by a committee of parents, carers and professionals with an interest in Autism.
Autism NT hold support groups across the Northern Territory these support groups are specific to the groups needs and are open to anyone wishing to find support and information about Autism, if you see a need in your community for support groups please contact the office.
Membership with the organisation will give you access to our extensive resource library, social groups, events and discounted rates at workshops and other such events hosted by Autism NT.
Our office is located in the Nightcliff Shopping Centre opposite Woolworths. Office hours change as we are out on the road sometimes so please call to make an appointment.
Autism NT is pleased to offer an expanded social group program, to be delivered in Palmerston and Darwin.

Our classes are for children that have a difficulty socialising, diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of ASD (parent self-referral is accepted). Limited spaces are offered to keep a low support staff to child ratio and to be considerate for any sensory issues. Classes have staff running the groups who have direct ASD experience.

Autism NT is owned by its members. Our members elect an Executive committee at the AGM, to set direction for the organisation, develop policy and to provide oversight for our operations. Our strength is our membership. Membership must be renewed annually by filling in the membership form to ensure your details are up to date.
