Outside the Square Psychology, 20 Banksia Street Burwood is a psychology private practice which has been providing child and family support for autistic individuals since 2006 under the guidance of principal psychologist Kirsty Kerr (Autism Victoria family counsellor from 2005-2007).

We are excited to have recently recruited additional psychologists for psychology consultations and so have appointments available with no wait-list!.

We are a child and youth-focussed practice.

We offer:

  • Mental health treatment sessions through either Mental Health Care Plan, NDIS Psychology Funding (eg. Capacity Building Daily) or private health. Anxiety, depression, emotional regulation.
Cost effective assessments (available within 3 months):
  • Autism diagnostic assessment
  • Cognitive assessment
  • Adaptive behaviour assessment (Vineland)
  • Intellectual disability assessment
  • Specific Learning Disorder assessment (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia)
  • ADHD assessment
  • Saturday appointments available for cognitive and specific learning disorder assessments.
  • Bilingual psychologist (English and Mandarin)
