Living on the Spectrum is a free, community-focused directory bringing together products and services that support Autistic people, families, and supporters.

The directory is now powered by Amaze, Australia’s national autism organisation. Together, we’re building a practical, trustworthy resource shaped by and for the Autistic community.

Submitting a listing on Living on the Spectrum is free. 

Keeping listings free helps ensure the directory remains accessible, inclusive, and representative of a wide range of community-led and values-aligned offerings. 

 

What Living on the Spectrum is for 

 

The directory exists to support informed choice. It helps people find products and services that:

  • are designed with Autistic people in mind
  • clearly explain what they offer and who they are for
  • respect different communication styles, access needs, and sensory experiences
  • contribute positively to the Autistic community.

Who can submit a listing

You can submit a listing if your product or service meets any of the following criteria:

  • your product or service is available in Australia
  • your offering has been thoughtfully developed to support Autistic people and their families. Amaze is committed to strengths-based and evidence-based support.

What to include in your listing 

Please include clear, helpful information such as:

  • what your product or service offers
  • who it is intended for
  • any access, communication, or sensory considerations
  • accurate contact details or links.

Clear information helps people decide whether something is right for them without needing to make extra enquiries. 

What not to include 

To keep the directory useful and respectful, listings should not:

  • use deficit-based, stigmatising or pathologising language
  • promote cures, behaviour compliance or harmful practices
  • make unsupported or misleading claims
  • function purely as advertising without community relevance
  • promote products or services outside Australia.

Please note, all listings are reviewed before being published. Listings that do not align with the purpose of directory may be returned for revision or declined.
