Making Rainbows Toowoomba offers individual music, movement and sensory play therapy classes for children aged 0-7 years. We believe children with additional needs are capable of more than we can imagine if given the opportunity and support. Each child during a Making Rainbows session is challenged just a little outside their comfort zone through fun and educational experiences. Understanding that every child is different we create experiences using the EYLF to suit your child’s individual NDIS goals. The activities provided are also based on your child’s interests as children learn best when their interests are respected and acknowledged. These are some of the skills we work on each week in our individual sessions:
-Social skills
-Self-regulation
-Sharing and turn taking
-Following instructions
-Language development/Communication
-Fine and gross motor skills -Early numeracy and literacy
Making Rainbows was created by a special education teacher and our NDIS classes are closely monitored and supported by a ESDM therapist. In Toowoomba the classes are facilitated by a qualified early years educator and musician with many years’ experience working with children with additional needs.
We value and love every child, supporting them to achieve their goals simply sums up our Making Rainbows slogan of ‘Making precious memories’.
