JAM is an inclusive fashion label designed with people with disability in mind, founded in 2019. JAM encompasses universal design principles to create products that makes the task of dressing easier or makes the items more comfortable for people to wear.
NDIS
As JAM’s products are designed to make the act of dressing easier, simpler, more accessible, and therefore increase independence, it means that they can be considered ‘Assistive Technology’ by the NDIS and may be purchased through your ‘Low-Cost Assistive Technology’ budget.
We are still exploring the world of being an NDIS provider, but if your plan is Self-Managed or Third Party/Plan Managed then you’re good to go!
